چکیده
Abstract Various approaches to Quantum Gravity suggest an existence of a minimal measurable length. The cost have such length could be modified uncertainty principle, dispersion relation, non-commutative geometry or breaking continuous Lorentz symmetry. In this paper, we propose that can obtained naturally through spin–orbit interaction. We consider Dresselhaus anisotropic interaction as the perturbative Hamiltonian. When applied particle, it implies space, which seizes should quantized in terms units depend on particle’s mass. This suggests all lengths space are depending existent mass and coupling constant. On one side, indicates breakdown continuum picture near scale tabletop experiments, other proposes is possible quantum gravity effect at low energy leads quantization.

Discreteness of the volume of space from Bohr-Sommerfeld quantization.
A major challenge for any theory of quantum gravity is to quantize general relativity while retaining some part of its geometrical character. We present new evidence for the idea that this can be achieved by directly quantizing space itself. We compute the Bohr-Sommerfeld volume spectrum of a tetrahedron and show that it reproduces the quantization of a grain of space found in loop gravity.
متن کاملSpace-Time Noncommutativity, Discreteness of Time and Unitarity
Violation of unitarity for noncommutative field theory on compact spacetimes is considered. Although such theories are free of ultraviolet divergences, they still violate unitarity while in a usual field theory such a violation occurs when the theory is nonrenormalizable. The compactness of space-like coordinates implies discreteness of the time variable which leads to appearance of unphysical ...
متن کاملDiscreteness in deSitter Space and Quantization of Kähler Manifolds
Recently, it has been proposed that the dimension of the Hilbert space of quantum gravity in deSitter space is finite and moreover it is expressed in terms of the coupling constants by using the entropy formula. A weaker conjecture would be that the coupling constant in deSitter space should take only discrete values not necessarily given by the entropy formula. We discuss quantization of the h...
متن کاملMeaning Representation: From Continuity to Discreteness
This paper presents a geometric approach to meaning representation within the framework of continuous mathematics. Meaning representation is a central issue in Natural Language Processing, in particular for tasks like word sense disambiguation or information extraction. We want here to discuss the relevance of using continuous models in semantics. We don’t want to argue the continuous or discre...
متن کاملFrom Interaction to Participation: Configuring Space Through Embodied Interaction
When computation moves off the desktop, how will it transform the new spaces that it comes to occupy? How will people encounter and understand these spaces, and how will they interact with each other through the augmented capabilities of such spaces? We have been exploring these questions through a prototype system in which augmented objects are used to control a complex audio 'soundscape.' The...
